How many websites have you bookmarked and then never visited again? Most people have hundreds of one-visit bookmarks / favorites. And if your site is one of them, that doesn't do you a whole lot of good.

- keep them up-to-date with new products and services
- provide them with purchase incentives, limited time offers and members-only deals
- ensure that you remain front-of-mind so that you are top of the list when they are ready to purchase
- continue the marketing courtship - sales are rarely gained on first contact
- develop a stronger relationship and reinforce the fact that you are a real live person and not a faceless corporation
Through time, you can use your list to market many new products - not just those that you produce yourself (in fact you may never market your own products!). And these products do not require your members to find another website. In other words, through your email newsletter marketing you are building your very own 'captive' market.
