Business Network Marketing
Professional business networks are much more sober affairs than Facebook and MySpace - you are unlikely to see photographs from the beach or last night's wild party. However, there are many similarities:
- you create a profile
- you connect to others
- you get involved in groups
In Business Network Marketing, our aim is to leverage these networks to generate business. The important thing to keep in mind is that these are long-term projects where you build relationships and your reputation. Trying to make a fast buck will soon get your account suspended.
There are 2 networks that I will focus on:
LinkedIn is the biggest professional network in the world with around 40 million members. Click on the logo for tips on Marketing On LinkedIn.
Ning offers a different model to LinkedIn with a greater focus on creating and managing your own networks, within a network of networks! Click on the logo for tips on Marketing on Ning.
Ensure that all your networking sites are interconnected.
There are a number of other business networks covered in the IFM Internet Marketing Program.
